> Payout Clarity is a Shopify payout explanation tool for small merchants. It connects to Shopify Payments via read-only OAuth, syncs payout and balance transaction data, and shows how each bank deposit was calculated.

## What it does

- Explains the difference between Shopify sales and bank deposits
- Breaks down each payout into gross sales, refunds, fees, and adjustments
- Shows transaction-level details per payout
- Reconciles computed net vs Shopify-reported payout amount
- Exports CSV (Pro plan)

## What it is NOT

- Not accounting, bookkeeping, or tax software
- Not a replacement for QuickBooks or Xero
- Does not modify Shopify stores (read-only access)
